Nasi Timbel Complete
Nasi timbel is a typical Bandung(West Java) food in the form of warm rice that has just been cooked and wrapped in banana leaves. Initially nasi timbel was lunch for the Sundanese farmers, you know. But now it's easy to find and become a favorite menu in Sundanese food stalls and restaurant.
Ingredients:
- Rice - 300 gram
- Water - 500 ml
- Banana Leaf, for wrapping - sufficiently or as much as you need
Complement:
- Fried chicken - 4 pieces
- Fried Tofu - 4 pieces
- Fried Tempe - 4 pieces
- Cucumber, cut pieces
- Basil leaf, pick the leaves
- Lettuce
- Chili shrimp paste - sufficiently or as much as you need
Method :
- Wash rice thoroughly.
- Simmer the water in the pan, then add the rice and stir until the water seeps.
- Turn off the heat, let stand for 10 minutes.
- Steam the rice for 30 minutes until cooked. Lift.
- Take a piece of banana leaf and put 5 tablespoons of rice. Roll banana leaves. Turn the tip of the right and left leaves. Put it in the middle while being pushed in.
- Serve lead rice with its complement.
